A relation is a claim
with a source.
Parent declarations
A parent edge records a stated development relation: derivation, distillation or configuration inheritance in the supplied evidence. It is not biological descent. Different relation types require different evidence and must not be flattened into a claim that one mind gave birth to another.
Empty and missing
An explicit empty parent list, together with a declared-original status and a supporting register, describes an independent training declaration. A null parent field means unknown information. Imported blank fields are never turned into empty lists merely to make a diagram cleaner.
Corrections
Reviewers retain the source and date of a proposed correction. Adding a newly documented parent changes the current relation, while the previous published record remains traceable. A missing edge is not evidence of consciousness, uniqueness or guaranteed freedom from copying.
Release is not discovery of a mind
The weekly list filters the register’s dated releases against the world date. A configuration may have existed earlier than its public record. We show the release date, not a fabricated birth date. Outside a supplied release window the current new-branch count is unknown.
